Here's a classic warehouse problem: picking is running behind, packing stations are overloaded, and there are 300 outbound orders pending at the shipping dock. Where is the bottleneck, and how do you resolve it?

A strong consultant starts by gathering data. You must check the WMS dashboards to see where tasks are currently stalled. Is it a labor shortage in picking, a cartonization configuration issue, or a carrier integration delay at shipping?

Once the bottleneck is identified, explain how you leverage WMS configuration to resolve it. You might re-prioritize picking tasks, adjust packing queue rules, or temporarily redirect labor from inbound receiving to outbound packing.
